Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) USA believes that mental health awareness and self-care go hand in hand. Our partnership with Erborian<\/a>, a pioneering Korean skincare brand known for its innovative hybrid skincare-makeup products, exemplifies this connection. Together, we are committed to reshaping the narrative around self-care by emphasizing the importance of mental wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Shared Vision for Mental Health<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Erborian\u2019s Self-esteem Club<\/a> champions kindness, self-acceptance, and the development of a positive self-image\u2014values that resonate deeply with MHFA’s mission. Our partnership allows us to work together in raising awareness about mental health challenges and equipping individuals with the skills necessary to provide initial support to those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Betsabe Espinal, US social media and PR manager at Erborian, notes, \u201cAt Erborian, we believe self-esteem is directly linked to how you feel in your skin. Through our club, we aim to bring action to our commitments. We join with MHFA and support them in their mission of providing evidence-based learning to better understand and assist in mental health situations and crises.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training Communities to #BeTheDifference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With over 4.5 million people trained in the U.S., MHFA is dedicated to educating communities on how to identify and respond to the signs of mental health challenges safely and effectively. Our partnership with Erborian amplifies these efforts, bridging the gap between skincare, self-esteem, and mental health advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tramaine EL-Amin, vice president of MHFA, emphasizes this connection: \u201cMuch like Erborian champions self-esteem to help people build a solid foundation to move through life, MHFA training equips people with the skills to respond to common signs of mental health and substance use challenges \u2014 which goes a long way toward helping others as well as yourself. Mental Health First Aiders can benefit their communities by reducing stigma around mental health challenges and encouraging people who may be going through a challenging time to seek professional help without fear or judgment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this initiative, Erborian recently hosted a special event where influencers from their Self-esteem Club and staff were trained in Adult MHFA. Through hands-on training led by certified MHFA Instructors, the learners gained a deeper understanding of empathy and proactive self-care and walked away with not only practical skills, but also a renewed commitment to building compassionate spaces. This event reflected the heart of both Erborian and MHFA\u2019s missions, highlighting the power of awareness and compassion in transforming how we approach mental health advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through our partnership, we aim to highlight that self-care encompasses much more than skincare routines; it fundamentally begins with mental health and self-acceptance.
